My Summertime Essentials with Target #ColorsofInfluence
It’s Summer! Yaaay! So now what? We need to get the summer essentials, that’s what! And for me, that means I need to get my summer essentials on a budget. Target is always my first place to start, especially since I have finally discovered this Cartwheel app!
Here are just a few of my summer essentials:
Garnier Anti-Sun Damage Lotion: Every lady needs a great moisturizer. I recently started using this and for the price, it works for me. I also like Olay 7 Effects as well.
Shea Moisture Black Soap: I have been using this soap for probably 3 years now. I buy a bar for my face and a bar for the shower. It’s such a stable, that it’s an automatic purchase. You can use it on your face, body and even wash your hair with it. I allow my children to use it and the hubby has become accustomed to it as well.
A Summer Maxi Dress: As a woman of a particular age with kids, I like to be cute while comfortable. I have to save the sexy for date night! Maxi dresses are a perfect summer essential because there are so many styles, options, colors and price ranges.
Summer Flats: Once again with three children, heels are saved for date night! Over the past few years, me and a cute pair of flats have become best friends. Fancy flip flops can almost be worn with anything. Almost!
Summer Shades: I saw these glasses on another person on Instagram and wondered were these the trend for 2014? If so, they are cute and even Target has a pair. I think of Sunglasses like I think of my earrings and shoes, a perfect accessory to compliment a cute summer outfit.
The Mighty iPad: I already have one, but I just wanted to add that I use it everyday. I write on it, read from it, take pictures, make video and even do my exercises right from my iPad. For the summer, I plan on using it more for my workouts and reading. I am currently reading One Pound a Day & The Five Love Languages of Children.
