Yes, 106 Labs to be exact.
I’ve been waiting to write this because I was so excited about the opportunity and also scared of the results, if I’m honest. Jan/Feb 2025 I wanted to get some blood work done and wished there was a way to literally get more info but didn’t know what to ask the doctor.

Usually, you tell them what’s wrong and they do some basic tests and say, “Well, you look good! I can give you a prescription!” So in March, I got an email from Function Health offering to give me blood work with 100+ labs. I had never heard of them, so I went into research mode. After I found out Function Health was a ground breaking company dedicated to US taking back control of our own health, I decided to give it a go. I had to give blood twice, one week apart, and give 10 vials of blood each time (it is 100 test results!).
All of a sudden, I started getting emails that the test results are starting to trickle in. I was checking my dashboard everyday reading the results and feeling some type of way if something wasn’t quite right. Within 2-4 weeks, I had all of my results.
I had 86 in range and 20 out of range.

Within that test, it shared the specifics of the numbers and what everything means. It broke down each level with an explanation of the range levels, where you stand, and how to fix it or what to talk to your doctor about. Click HERE to see the list of lab test you get.
It came with an action plan: foods I should and shouldn’t be eating, supplements that could help, and even an opportunity to retest again in 6 months to see if I’m improving on the 20 tests that were out of range. Once all of the labs were complete, I was given a note written by one of their doctors in every category based on my bloodwork & results. I can now take these results and notes to my doctor and start to work on some things.
Oh! And one of the tests was a Biological Age test – My body is really 32 years old based on how I’ve been treating myself. My calendar age is 48!! That’s 15 years younger. I will take it.

This came right on time for me because the test also confirmed some things about menopause (I’m NOT fully in it yet! Thank ya GOD), my heart health, and some deficiencies I can now work on. I felt like I had more power when going back to my doctor with this information. Probably because they didn’t give it to me and were shocked that I had it, but they were still impressed.
Would I recommend Function Health?
I would recommend them because of how much information you can get about yourself. I’ve already received more results than I’ve ever gotten from a doctor at one time. In addition, I’m going back in 6 months to see if I’ve improved.
In all honesty, the Function Health test is $499. The company doesn’t take insurance. They also offer more tests that you can add on, plus they now do full-body MRIs. I honestly would like to do that because I currently need 2 MRIs on my knees, but if I can get a full body one and see everything at once, sign me up.
