This summer, Cobb County opened up Seven Springs Water Park and it seems word has gotten around because the line was literally down the street (I am exaggerating, but it was long).
My goal was to be there exactly at 1pm today, we arrived about 1:15 and this is what we saw. The lined moved pretty fast and was worth it for the prices of entry.
This park is definitely designed with children in mind. The initial area is a hug child size pool with a playground and water sprinkles. The park provides life jackets in a variety of children sizes too.
The park is adorned with relaxing chairs for parents to relax while their children play but less than half come with umbrellas.
Which means, bring your own or get there early. They do have at least 4 covered tabled areas to escape the sun and eat.
There’s also a snack shop that serves the usual hot dogs, nachos, pizza and more. The prices are average and nothing to complain over.
Seven Springs Water Park is located at 3820 Macedonia Road Powder Springs, 30127

My children really enjoyed it and were surprised at how many friends they saw from school and their sports team. Besides Six Flags new Hurricane Park and White Water, this new water park is affordable, a great location, and allows you to reenter on the same day for no additional cost.
Will you be taking your children to this new family fun spot this summer?
