[VIDEO] ASK BERNETTA: WHAT TYPE OF SOAP DO YOU USE FOR YOUR FACE?
Save
Here’s another edition of Ask Bernetta! I will try to answer these questions in 60 seconds or less. Today’s question:
Bernetta, what type of facial soap or cleanser do you use on your face?
I like to use African Black Soap. I use Shea Moisture or Nubian Heritage. You can buy them at your local Target or Beauty Supply (or click above to order). It’s gentle and we can use it on our body as well. I can even wash my hair with it. I also let my children use it.
African soap is traditionally made by harvesting and sun-drying palm leaves, cocoa pods and the bark from shea and plantain trees. This material is then roasted in a kettle at a constant temperature and mixed with oils, such as coconut and palm oil. The soap then cures for two weeks before it’s ready to use. Source
Benefits of Black Soap:
- Protects Against Aging
- Improves Skin Tone
- Fades Skin Discolorations
- It’s an Effective Exfoliant
- Has Deep Cleansing Action
