HOW TO VIDEO: TWO STRAND TWIST TO THE SIDE FOR LITTLE GIRLS

The best thing about having a daughter is being able to create fun styles for her to try as she becomes the women she will eventually be. Fun styles allows us to be creative more often than not with her clothes and hair. I’ve been using Just for Me for a few weeks now, and I honestly don’t want to think about life before this product.
Last month I tried a twisted mohawk on my daughter and she loved it. She called me a “Hair Artist”!
This week, we were able to try out 3 more Just for Me products that made her hair defined, soft and controlled. This week we created a twist out with one big twist on the side of her head.

To achieve this style I used these 3 products:
Edge Control | an alcohol-free formula that tames and controls hair. It perfectly polishes any style with medium hold and lovable non-stop shine. I used this to lay down and smooth her sides in addition to the front her hair. It wasn’t sticky afterwards, which was a big plus.
Curl Perfecter | a super creamy formula that stretches, elongates and defines coarser textures. This leaves natural textures conditioned, well defined and gorgeous. I used this to actually twist her hair. I coated each section of hair before I twisted the hair and the result was perfect definition.
Curl Smoother | a light, milky formula that helps control frizz and define curls. It leaves each tender coil bouncy, beautiful and touchable. After I washed her hair and applied the detangler, I added this product to her hair to fight frizz and add extra softness.
How to: Two Strand Twist with a Side Twist
My daughter likes her hair to the side. I think it’s cute on her as well. So, for today’s style we tried a two strand twist with added twist coming down into her face. We used the #5FingerChallenge Technique throughout the process. These products detangle so well, you don’t need a comb unless you need to make a specific part.
Step 1 | Start with clean hair. Wash and condition her hair with Just for Me Hair Milk Line
Step 2 | Saturated hair with the Curl Smoother. Add Curl Perfecter to each section of hair as you twist it.
Step 3 | The next day, take the hair down and fluff to your desired look.
