HCPS BACK-TO-SCHOOL FAIR RAIN OR SHINE

back to school fair

I am sure your children are now fully immersed in their summer activities. They are probably enjoying camp, staying up late and of course no homework.

The last thing they are thinking about is the start of the next school year, well unless you’re my daughter. She’s ready for 4th grade now! I’ve already heard her whole run down of the clubs she will join and the teacher she is praying for.

Although, our children are parlaying in this summer heat, as parents we know that the 1st day of school will soon be upon us.

Hillsborough County Public Schools Transportation is one step ahead and will be hosting a Community Back 2 School Fair on Saturday, August 5th from 9am – 1pm.

Their goal is to encourage healthy, safe modes of transportation, initiate school readiness, parental involvement, and community interaction.

The Transportation Community Back-2-School Fair is a collaborative effort between district departments, local agencies and community partners such as 1150 AM WTMP, AvantGarde Urgent Care, Suncoast Credit Union, St. Joseph’s Children Wellness and Safety Center and other local agencies and businesses.

What Happens at this Back 2 School Fair
