Last Friday night, we decided to ditch our movie night plans and spend it with Mickey Mouse. We love surprising our children, so we didn’t tell them where we were going . . . we just started driving!
My kids always pick it up while we driving because they see the signs and yell, “Mom! Are we going to Disney World?”This holiday season, we were able to experience something different – Christmas at Disney. Now of course, Christmas is still about 1 month away, but Disney made sure we were in the holiday spirit right now.
Magic Kingdom was simply beautiful. As we entered, we were greeted with amazing Christmas decorations, as we then walked down main street under snow softly falling on our faces.
Christmas music plays loudly around the park, which makes me wish I was going home to open presents when I leave.
Around the park are positioned candy canes & when we see them – we are able to get a holiday treat.
- Hot chocolate
- Apple cider
- Sugar cookies
- Slushies
- & more
The most beautiful site to behold was the castle draped in frozen ice. It was also in front of the castle where the shows & parade take place.
All of the Very Merry Details:
- Very Merry Christmas November 7th – December 22th
- Price starts at $86
- Shows – Christmas wouldn’t be the same without Anna and Elsa on the Castle Forecourt Stage. The frozen castle is the perfect backdrop.
- Parade – the highlight of the evening. People seems to set up shop 1 hour before the parade starts to get the best view. We got to see our favorite characters come to life right in front of us!
- Character Meet & Greet – there are more than 15 Disney Characters around the park ready to take pictures and hug on your babies!
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas brings out all of holiday lovers! In addition to the beautiful decor, we enjoyed many of the rides without the usual long lines. The park is open to 1am too!
