Big Things Come in Small Packages: 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage Review

“OMG! OMG! OMG! Mommy is this for my birthday?”

“Yes, Mommy likes to do it big! or small!”

Its possible that big things come in small sizes, and in this case my daughters reaction to her birthday car was HUGE!

I was a lucky individual a little over a week ago when I was able to review a 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage for a full week just in time for Bailee’s 8th Birthday.

8 is a big number! It actually means “new beginnings”, so why not celebrate Big (or small). This year we opted out of having an official birthday party, but we still celebrated this occasion. Bailee was able to choose 3 of her closest girlfriends for a spa day & brunch!

We started our journey in the 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage and it was just enough room for Bailee & her girls! It just tickled these ladies to ride around in this car.

As the official driver, I have to say it has so much get up and go – it was easy for me to bob and weave through traffic as I hustled to get the ladies to their appointments on time.

A few great takeaways about the Mitsubishi Mirage:

I Feel Normal | During our drive time, I was sharing with my husband that although it is tiny on the outside, when you’re inside you actually don’t feel any different. It felt like a regular size car. I had leg room, the kids weren’t on top of each other. We felt normal. He agreed.

More $$ in My Account | The gas milage was great. I filled up with $12 with gas going for $1.92 a gallon! At those prices, I can take my children to all of their activities with gas to spare for a mom’s night out!

Keyless Everything | When you have children and one of them still needs you to hold their hand, keyless entry is what I need! I noticed that I don’t even have to have my key OUT to get in. It can be in my pocket, and the door will unlock with the press of a button.

One day during my time with the Mitsubishi, I noticed I was getting a lot of stares. I joked with Earl that it’s either the size, the color or the driver!

Either way, I was turning heads.

Have you ever bought a new car and then started noticing that car every where? That’s what happened to me while I was driving the 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage. I started seeing green sub-compact cars everywhere!

The funniest thing is when the other drivers would make eye contact with me and give me a nod of approval. It’s like they knew something everyone else didn’t know.
