** This is NOT a sponsored post. I personally downloaded this app and truly enjoy it and wanted to share my experience.**
A personal goal of mine is to learn how to meditate.
It seems that people who are masters at it, have such a peace about themselves. They make better decisions because they know how to clear their minds & focus.
While online one day, I was came across an article that gave the top 5 apps for meditation. After reading through them all, one stuck out and I downloaded it.
One Giant Mind
For me, its perfect. It walks you through meditation & how it benefits you. It starts you out with a 12 step beginners phase into meditation with helpful prompts & journal entries.
Every FAQ you might have, is answered with a video.
Also, you can’t go onto the next step on any part of this journey until you complete the previous one. They want to make sure you are getting the meditation experience as well as education on the practice.
Once you have completed the 12 day meditation introduction, you can start the 30 day challenge.
It also has a meditation timer on the app for days you just want to turn it on and meditate. This app has thought of everything. It’s so simple, but so effective.
Benefits of Meditation:
- Decreases depression
- Helps regulate moods and anxiety disorders
- Reduces stress
- Increases brain concentration
- Improves focus and attention
- Makes you stronger against pain
Do you meditate? How did you get started? How does it help you?

November 9, 2015 at 11:24 amMy mind is constantly racing. I rarely think of one thing at a time. I’m a perpetual multi-tasker.
I’ll have to download this and give it a try especially since it takes into account what it’s like for beginners.
