It seems like the more children you have, the more relaxed you get with each one. Being a mom of three, it is the same way for me – to an extent.
With my first child, he slept in my room until he was 6 months old, but I personally didn’t have a good night sleep for a year. I found myself watching the monitor for any slight movements and even going to check on him myself multiple times throughout the night.
With my second child, she stayed in my room about 6 months as well. I think I felt better because she moved into the room with her big brother until he was big enough to move to his own room.
Now this third child… this is a little different. My son stayed in the room with me until he was 20 months! I just got used to my son’s bed in the room with me and I actually enjoyed seeing my little man in the morning. Not to mention, my oldest child is a boy and we were debating who our baby would room with.
Well, we moved and my husband put my son in the room with our oldest the first night in our new home. I was like, “Umm, are you trying to tell me something!” It was so weird not to hear him move during the night or to look over and see my little man smile at me in the morning. Although he’s a toddler now, he will always be my baby!
Thanks to Sophia Video Baby Monitor, I can still peek at my big baby (because he getting to that sneaky age) and my youngest baby. And lucky for you, we’re giving one away!

March 19, 2015 at 3:01 pmWith my first child we let her sleep in our room in her crib until she was 1 year old, and with my second child we never let her sleep in our room, she slept in her crib in her room from the day she came home from the hospital. I was just really conscious about that the second time around with my kids.

March 25, 2015 at 6:45 amOur son slept in our room in a pack n play for about 6 months too. I was ready for him to move into his own room.
My husband wanted him to stay even longer!

April 10, 2015 at 6:12 pmOur son stayed in our room until 8 months. Although this was determined by the room we had marked for his room was way too cold in winter. We have changed rooms now.
