If you read my post about a month ago, you would know my son was a late walker. He recently started walking at 15 months (late May/Early June) and I have been on cloud 9 every day. I get to see the chunky legs waddle around the house and I love it. Changing Challenges: When a baby learns to walk, it’s hard to hold them down for long. They just want to walk everywhere now, it’s a freeing feeling. The same is true for my baby. When I try to change him, I usually hear a whine or loud cry. I try to make our changing times quick, unless there’s more in the diaper!
With Huggies Slip-Ons, I like that if he needs a change (#1) – I can peel and discard. It’s summer now, so my son wears those long short one pieces which makes it easier for me to wipe him, then slip-on the diapers and he’s off. I can do it all while he’s standing up.
Now #2 is a different story. I have to lay him down, but the peels to remove the diaper come off easy. After I wipe him down, I can still slip them on and he’s off walking again. It does make it a little difficult if your baby wears pants, because you will have to take them off. Or, you have the option of peeling back the side slips like a regular diaper and putting it on that way. They detach and stick back easily.
