The New Beech Nut : Real Food For Babies

I breast-fed all of my children and introduced baby foods around 5 months. I breastfed because I believe breast milk was the best option for my baby, it gets hard because when you start feeding them real food – you want the same option.

It’s not always an option or convenient to puree or make baby food from scratch, so a great quality baby food was a major concern for me. Beech Nut sent me a wonderful package with 4 of their new flavors.

The New Beech-Nut

  • This is not baby food. This is real food for babies.
  • Just real, whole fruits and vegetables (and sometimes ancient grains and beans) are inside our jars. And nothing else.
  • At Beech-Nut, homemade is our inspiration.
  • We collaborated with moms to create a product that is as close to possible as what you might make in your own kitchen.

Where was this real food baby line with my first two children? One thing I truly love is that Beech Nut took the time to see why mothers were no longer buying baby food. New millennial moms revealed that they can’t read all the ingredients, the food is watery, taste horrible and just doesn’t seem like real food. They (mothers) felt like they could take a few extra hours out of their week and make fresh baby food.

Beech Nut decided to start over! They went back and set out to create the World’s Best Baby by going back to the basics – fresh/frozen fruits and veggies. That is all.

They redesigned the bottle, which I love! The bottle also doesn’t have a paper label. They wanted it clear (transparent) so moms can actually see the quality and consistency of the baby food. Also, check out the ingredients of the applesauce, HONEYCRISP APPLES! It’s just fruit and nothing more, I like it and feel very comfortable giving this to my son.

My son ate it very quickly, which means he likes it!

This is great. I used to make my daughter’s food but would have to buy some when I didn’t have time to whip it up for her. The flavors look delish! Who knew? 😉

I’ve used Beech Nut with my daughters when they were younger. I wish the new and improved one was available back then. The flavors looks really good!

That is awesome! My youngest is five so, it’s a little late for me. But great for the newbie busy moms.
