Welcome to Wellness Wordy Wednesday! Today’s tip is Pineapple Juice and it’s stomach flattening benefits! You heard me correctly. While watching Dr. Oz one day, he did a 35 year old Survival Kit and I was all eyes and ears. Of course, avoiding salty and fatty foods is important, but as we age, hormonal changes make a flat belly harder and harder to achieve even if you watch what you eat. After 35, your sex hormones fluctuate, making your body retain more water and your GI tract not as efficient, resulting in bloating.

Ever since I heard this I have been buying Pineapple Juice. I don’t make the ice cubes because I actually like the taste alone. What I have been doing lately is replacing the orange juice I use for smoothies with Pineapple Juice. That way I get my 8oz a day. If I don’t make a smoothie, I will usually drink my 8oz with dinner.

Is it working? I hope so!! (Just being honest!) I work out and eat good so my stomach is coming down – remember I just had a baby! Like I said before, if it’s good for you – I will try to fit it in to my routine.

    Also great for muscle cramps. I’m a diabetic so the sugar content even if it’s natural should be considered as well.

    Let me just say.. I absolutely love pineapple juice. I drink it like crazy. At 25, I guess I’m going to keep it up! Thank you for sharing! 🙂

    I never knew this but I lovvvve Pineapple juice & to know there’s a benefit behind it I’m inspired to drink more!

      Yes, but don’t over do it. Remember Juice is also more calories!! But yes, keep it up!! I try to at least get one cup a day.

    Wow! I didn’t know that about pineapple juice. I’m going to have to try that. I love smoothies, pineapple smoothies are my favorite 🙂
