I don’t know what it is, but my kids love my iPad & Netflix! I promise it’s not a day that goes by that my children don’t ask me “Mom, can we watch a movie on your Netflix?”

During the school year, my children don’t watch TV during the week. They have enough school work to keep them busy. But it’s summer time!! During the day, they go to camp but when they come home they try to plop in front of the TV. I let them watch one or two shows but if they can watch a movie, they rather! Sometimes on TV, it’s really nothing on! And with Netflix launching their new FAMILY PAGE , they can literally watch what they want when they want. With mommy’s approval of course! www.Netflix.com/Families

The cool thing about Netflix is that it is available on so many different devices, if they don’t want to watch the same movie – they don’t have to. I also like that they have a Family section. So I don’t have to worry about them seeing certain movie titles that are not appropriate. There are never any commercials!! LOVE THAT! And we don’t have to leave the house to {whispers} rent a movie!

Many families in the U.S. already have three or more Netflix-ready devices in their household:

  • Laptops
  • Nintento Wii
  • Tablets
  • Smartphones
  • Smart TV’s
  • Microsoft Xbox
  • Sony PlayStation

I have to admit that I take my iPad everywhere and I sometimes watch Netflix at work. When there is downtime, I can catch up on Scandal. Are you a fan? People think Netflix is just movies. Wrong! They have shows too. Kid shows as well as adult programming. Great movies such as: The Lorax, Dumbo, Leap Frog, Power Rangers & more. Great shows such as: Scandal, Weeds, Grey’s Anatomy, Parenthood & more. They even have movies that have never made it to a theatre. I have watched a few of those!

I have a new baby and I have honestly turned on Leapfrog and let him watch videos on ABC’s and 123’s! You have to start early!
