Netflix is made for kids too! #NetflixKids

I became a Netflix customer right before my newborn arrived. I knew I would be in the hospital for at least 4 days and didn’t know if I would like Hospital TV.  Well my (older) children found my Netflix app on my iPad and that was all she wrote. It made me happy because NetflixKids really has alot of shows they already watch and enjoy. They recently added Disney Jr., PBS, Hasbro and Cartoon Network which is great because we are considering cutting cable. And when/if we do, my kids won’t skip a beat when it comes to their shows.

In the picture above, my children are picking out a movie on my iPad because my husband was watching something else on TV. That brings me to the versatility of Netflix. You are able to watch Netflix on your TV, tablet and smartphone. With Summer around the corner, family vacations will be a little bit easier if they are happy in the back seat with a movie or two. Recently my children don’t ask me can they play with my iPad anymore, they ask “Can I watch your Netflix?”

I have a 7 & 5 year old and although they’re close in age, they don’t always want (or need) to watch the same thing. I love that Netflix has a variety for ages 2-12 so they can pick and choose. For some reason, my children love to watch things over and over again. For example, we actually took my kids to see Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax but everytime it comes up on Netflix – my daughter wants to watch it again!
My children ended up selecting ParaNorman. You can see in their faces, they are really into it. With all shows/movies they have available, I am getting closer and closer to cutting my cable. I have really no complaints with the access of Netflix Kids; no commericals, huge selections, and happy kids!

What are you watching on TV with your family? Netflix has family favorites from Disney, Disney Jr., Hasbro, Cartoon Network and Dreamworks that are available to stream anytime, anywhere.

And streaming is easier than you think! Download the free app on your iPad, click on the Netflix app on any gaming device, go to the website on your computer – and you’re in business. Check it out here!

We have netlix on the pad and we have it connected in our daughters room on the wii because I don’t want to pay for another cable box so far she loves it and I think we will keep it in her room for right now. They have a lot of her favorites too so it keep her busy.

I feel so late to Netflix. We don’t have it. But I’d like to get our 3 year old a tablet and I’ll get the Netflix app now that I know there are age appropriate movies for him to watch.
