Did you know that the White House will send you a Birth Announcement for your newborn? When I found out I decided to test the method. I sent them my announcement and information to the White House and today I actually received my official letter in the mail today addressed to my son from them. The card is signed by The President and First Lady. I will surely be adding this to his baby book.
If you want an announcement keepsake, send your announcement to:
White House Greetings Office
Room 39
Washington, DC 20500
When you are sending the birth announcement card to the above address you must include the following details – the name of your baby, name of the parents, address to which you would like the card to be sent and the baby’s date of birth. You can also send the birth announcement through FAX to the White House. If you choose to send the birth announcement through FAX, it should be sent to 202-395-1232.

October 24, 2013 at 6:51 pmHi Bernetta,
Hope this note finds you well! My name is Jessica and I’m reaching out on behalf of Parents.com. I’m working on an assignment about sending baby announcements to the White House. Would you be willing to answer a few questions about the process and your experience for the article? It will probably be rehashing this post a bit, but we’d love to talk to some moms firsthand that sent their announcements to the President!
Let me know, thanks so much.
