Manicure Monday!
Hosted my Mimi (LipGloss & Binky) & Efie (LA Lynns)
I haven’t linked up in a while because, well… I hardly do my nails! That goes for hands and feet. That boggles my husbands mind because he says, “You like to look good from Head to Ankle!!” Meaning, I don’t take care of the toes (& hands!). I had mentioned in my first Manicure Monday post, that I just wasn’t into getting fake nails but now I see this movement of doing such creative things with your own nails – I LOVE IT! And I am going to try to do better.
Well, this weekend I just couldn’t do it. So, I wanted to share my
NO-MANICURE-MONDAY-PICTURE
to show what my hands usually look like on a day to day basis! But I also wanted to show with simple polish (picture behind my hands) what they can look like if I just took a little time and painted them! The image behind me is from Mimi’s Blog, http://lipglossandbinky.com.
I also wanted to show my support of their Manicure Monday! I think it a great idea and has really become a movement!
I promise, next Monday I will have added color!

But the thing of it all is your nails look really strong and healthy! I would DIE to have nails like that. Honey Chile Boo Boo file those nails and add some color and ROCK ON! Thanks for linking up…

January 15, 2013 at 1:59 amThis is such a sweet post. I know that sometimes finding that chunk of time to just sit down and do something simple for yourself, like painting your nails, can seem impossible. But it’s totally worth it! I’m really glad you linked up anyway, because it’s encouraging to hear that you’re planning to make more time to care for yourself 🙂

January 15, 2013 at 6:21 amLOL. This is such a cute post and so real. Stuff happens, life gets in the way. If I hadn’t got my nails done in Vegas there surely wouldn’t have been post this week!

January 18, 2013 at 6:55 pmGirl you crazy!!!! I appreciate the support tho! I promise it only takes about 10 minutes. Get you some quick dry but then again with new man on his way you may need to stay colorless with all of the handwashing you will be doing.
I never paint my toes and my husband makes smart comments. I get pedicures in the summer but in the winter…Jesus be a pumice stone and a nails shop massage chair!!
