Disney on Ice Review: LOVED IT!

Beauty and the Beast

I was very excited about going to see Disney on Ice at Phillips Arena. I have never saw a Disney on Ice show, so I didn’t know what to expect. I just knew it would be great, and I was right. As my husband, children and I were walking up to the window we were surrounded by so many parents with their children. My husband said, “Whoa, this must be a big deal!” I said, “Babe! It’s Disney!”

My daughter being a “Big Girl” and getting her ticket scanned! Bottom pic: Family getting settled in our seats.

After we got settled in our seats and the show started, our eyes were glued to the stage the entire time. I kept looking over at my children to see their facial expressions. I didn’t know how the show would flow but I was delighted to see that they actually re-told the stories of many favorite Disney Characters. Every time a new story came on, my children would shout out the story! I loved that. Some stories I didn’t even know until my son yelled it out. The very last story, I kept nudging him “C’mon what is this one! I don’t know!” It was Beauty & The Beast.

Differnt routines during the night.

Mickey and Minnie opened up the show with our favorite friends Donald and Goofy saying their hellos! Disney gave us the stories of Tangled, Brave, The Little Mermaid, and Beauty & The Beast. My favorite part of the entire show was the excellence in execution. The costumes were great, and really made you believe you were reliving the movie. The set changes were excellent. It was amazing how it started off as a huge slate of ice but quickly turned into an underwater sea world, a Castle, and a Scottish Village! I enjoyed how they told each story in about 20 minutes with singing and dancing routines that were well choreographed. I have never saw Tangled or Beauty & the Beast (I know, can you believe it?), but now I really want to. Well, at least Tangled! The show was Amazing.

If you have an opportunity to take your children, I am sure they will really enjoy it. Mine surely did.
Two thumbs up!

You can pretty much be guaranteed that if Disney is involved somehow – it is a BIG deal 😉 Glad you all had such a fun time! I think we might have been sitting near each other.
