Last night I was able to attend Girls Night Out (a charity event) and had a pure blast. Girls Night Out was hosted at a fun and flirty boutique in Camp Creek Marketplace called Shimmer Boutique (Owner, Denise Stokes). It was hosted by blogger, Sojourner Marable Grimmett. We were able to bring new and gently used clothing to support the YWCA of Greater Atlanta Women in Transition (WIT) Program. In addition to 10% of all store sales going to this cause, there were raffle give-a-ways that everyone wanted to win!! The prizes ranged from, wax treatments, hair treatments, bags, restaurants and so much more. You know I like to win things but this time I only got a free McDonald’s Chiller!!
I enjoyed this event because everyone was so nice and welcoming. I went by myself and knew I would see some other familiar bloggers but I met some new people and we chatted like old friends. That’s why I have really come to enjoy this blogging experience. You meet so many cool and interesting new people whose path you may have not crossed otherwise.
