Living Smart: 70 year old woman has found the fountain of youth

It’s a clip of Annette Larkins (pictured on left). She is a 70 year old woman that could easily pass for a late 30’s early 40’s. She is a size 4 and has great skin and the cutest shape! She has not had any plastic surgery either. She stopped eating meat and had a strong desire to take care of herself 27 years ago when her husband opened a meat store. She only eats fruits, veggies, nuts & seeds! And did I mention, only RAW! She grows her own veggies and makes her own fruit juices.

Now after speaking with a good friend, she mentioned this was too extreme! Well, my response is how do you want to look at 7o? You do not have to do everything she does, but you surely can change some habits and substitute for other things. I am sure she didn’t start off going all out. Over time she learned more and more! The same with you and I. We start at the point we can handle and over time we will get better and be able to eat less processed mess! People need to stop wanting the ultimate result without making the ultimate sacrifice. Simple as that!

I have not stop thinking about this lady since I watch the video. I have already started planning my new veggie meals! LOL! My husband and I do eat healthy but I would say we are good eaters. We can do alot better. I want to be a great eater for my body. I want to be healthy and I have always told my friends, I want to age gracefully. I think this lady has really showed me how and that it is possible naturally. I will keep you updated on my progress. What I am going to do first is cut out fried foods and meat. I know she doesn’t eat it at all, but right now I am giving myself a once every two weeks allowance (for the meat). I think I can cut out the fried food altogether. My favorite food is french fries but I have been oven frying them (cut them, rub olive oil over them and back on 450 until crunchy) for about a year now.

    I say go for it…I gave up fried foods for lent…I may continue it for a while…my mom is having issues with clogged arteries and such right now…and I don’t want to be in her predicament when I get 57…soooo with that said…go for what you know B!!!!

    Excellent story! So good to see something like this. After seeing this story, I will look into RAW vegan. I have been a vegetarian for the 3 almost 4 years and feel so much better knowing what exactly is going into my body. There are so many hidden chemical that are processed into the food we consume. It is sickening! I have a 15 month old daughter who will know of only fruits/veggies/nuts in her diet. I am lactose intolerant (a blessing actually) and use rice milk for a substitute. We are moving soon and I look forward to planting a full garden to provide us year round with all the things we will need. The price of organic is astronomical, so why not grow it yourself for pennies! You also KNOW for a fact it’s organic. Best wishes to you in your trek. It will be a bit of a struggle at first when you realize, “oh I can’t eat this and that.” It will definitely get easier though!
