New Black Panther Trailer and 3 Reasons I am Ready to See it NOW!

February 2018 is going to be, “as the young people say nowawdays” LIT! I don’t know one person who isn’t excited about the release of the new Marvel movie, Black Panther.

Every time I see a new poster, trailer, or an interview that gives more of the plot I stop in my tracks.

Check out the new poster, please feel free to share:

3 Reasons I am Excited about Black Panther:

  1. The Cast: This is the first Marvel movie with a majority black cast. The line up is all star all the way. Lead actor Chadwick Boseman is quickly becoming a household name. He gave us a sneak peak of his skills in the the last Avengers movie too. Let’s not forget about the legendary Angela Bassett, Lupita Nyong’o and Forest Whitaker to name a few.
  2. Women Everywhere: The movie is definitely about Chadwick Boseman’s character but the women in the movie play a major role and don’t hold back on their skills. A little birdie told me Phylicia Rashad makes an appearance too! Shhhhhhh.
  3. The Set & Culture: The movie takes place in a fictional city in North Africa. I haven’t seen anything this rich in appearance since Coming to America. The city is rich in resources and people which allows Africa to be seen as the beautiful country we already know it is. Have you also taken a peek at these outfits. Every scene makes them look like royalty. I already see some new trends in fashion once this movie comes out.

Here’s a newly released trailer too! I’ve seen all of Chadwick Boseman’s movies, except Marshall and I plan to take my family this week to see it.

He seems so laid back in his interviews and you can tell he takes his craft seriously. If I ever got an opportunity to interview him, I would ask him how be prepares for roles.

Marvel Studios’ BLACK PANTHER follows T’Challa who, after the death of his father, the King of Wakanda, returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation to succeed to the throne and take his rightful place as king. But when a powerful old enemy reappears, T’Challa’s mettle as king—and Black Panther—is tested when he is drawn into a formidable conflict that puts the fate of Wakanda and the entire world at risk. Faced with treachery and danger, the young king must rally his allies and release the full power of Black Panther to defeat his foes and secure the safety of his people and their way of life.

Marvel Studios’ BLACK PANTHER opens in theaters everywhere on February 16, 2018!

So, are you going to see it? #BlackPanther

All of the reasons that you listed are all of the reasons why I can’t wait to see this movie. I mean, my goodness…all of the beautiful people. I’ll be right there in February. And I may host a party in honor of Black Panther.
