Roc House Fitness Spa is a Perfect Moms Day Getaway!! {Event Recap}

As a mother of one or six kids, it’s okay to crave some alone time. The question is how do we fit it in? A perfect day would be a great workout, a massage or facial, have someone do our hair and add a manicure & pedicure. We could top it off with a healthy bite to eat. How and when can you fit it all in? Enter Roc House Fitness Spa

Roc houseSaturday, I was invited to the Roc House Fitness Spa with a few other media mommies, to experience a pre-Mothers Day pampering. This place has everything I mentioned above. Everything! I walked in and gasped! It’s a moms/girlfriend/just-me-time getaway all in one. This is a Ladies Only Fitness Spa!

Our day started out with a Barre Fitness workout. The fitness area is in the basement. They have a monthly schedule of all types or fitness classes (between 30 – 60 min).

Barre fitness  is a one hour full body workout that fuses the best elements of ballet, pilates, sports conditioning and stretching for a truly unique and fun experience. The moves are low impact but high intensity intervals of strength training followed immediately by deep recovery stretching.

For 30 minutes, I gained a new respect for ballet and so did my thighs! We plan to go back to try Suspension.

On one side of the Spa, there is a full service hair salon that sits next to a full mani/pedi area. Across the hall are the Massage & Facial rooms.

While you wait or get serviced, they have an array of wine to choose from as well. After our spa services, we were served brunch in the Roc House juice bar and organic cafe. We looked up and a couple of hours had past. We were just enjoying ourselves and the pampering.

What’s the Best Part? There are NO year long contracts! You pay on a month-to-month basis or per class. It’s a $99 registration fee, plus first and last month deposit. That’s a total of $297 to get started. If you want to try a class, it’s only $25. Other services, you can check the website and create a pampering day around what you like.
