Baby E was christened yesterday wearing his big brothers Christening outfit, who wore it 7 years earlier. Right now Baby E is doing some major bathroom action after he eats and ended up messing up this outfit after church while we were at lunch. Thank God for a change of clothes. So after we wash it, I would love to frame it with a picture of both my boys. My Bishop Keith Young, Sr. has christened all three of my children. He has seen me come to his church as a 22 year “young” lady and has watched me marry and become a mother of 3. He has prayed over and for my family on many occasions. We are grateful for such a wonderful man of God in our lives!
These family pictures didn’t come out well, so I apologize. I asked someone to take pictures for me and they didn’t get close enough or seem to even try to focus!! [Insert SAD FACE] I am sure they didn’t know that my pictures go on my blog! My mother came to our church for this occasion and the Godparents are also on stage with us. I didn’t get a good picture of all of us, and I regret that. Baby E has two set of Godparents, but the other couple was not able to attend the service.
Yes! That’s me in Red Baby! I bought this dress Pre-Baby E and was so excited to fit back into it. This dress is a size 6 luvs!! And it fit great. I am going to keep it real, I did have a smoother on so you won’t see lines but other than that …. it’s all me! I felt so good in the dress, I must admit it. I have been on my grind with my workouts and I can see that my hard work is starting to show. It’s not about losing a gang a weight anymore, but now I am focused on my shape. I want everything TONED and DEFINED.
Funny Story: Over the weekend I told my two older children that their baby brother was getting christened. They asked, “What does that mean?” I explained that, “We are giving him back to God.” So my oldest son says, “Mommy, so will he still be alive?” I laughed and said, “Ummm, we gave you two back to God as well and your still here, so yep. He’s not going anywhere!” I went on to explain it to them the best way I could. Gotta love the kids!!
